Little Changes Add Up To Big Change

Dateline: December 30, 2016

Welcome to our Friday WRAP – one thought-provoking idea to think about over the weekend.

Many of us think of ourselves as a change agent–someone who sees things that need to be done, and does them.  But when the change is bigger than what one person can do, perhaps we are not so quick to take on the project.  Why is that?

Recently author Ron Donovan published a new book, The Wisdom of Doing Things Wrong, that was reviewed by author, futurist, innovation advisor, friend and former colleague Chunka Mui in his blog here.  Chunka summarized one thesis in Ron’s book,

Running throughout the book is the argument that big change is almost impossible but effective change is not. Effective change is a lot of little change happening so quickly it looks like big change.

What are the little changes you can make happen now that, eventually, will lead to the big change you see in the future?

That’s a WRAP!  Have a great weekend and a Happy New Year!  See you in 2017!
