Welcome to our Friday WRAP – one thought-provoking idea to think about over the weekend.
This is Information Security month for our blog. The topic today is Information Security maturity. A survey of 1825 IT leaders, conducted by the Ponemon Institute for Dell SecureWorks, was summarized in a report titled the 2015 Global Study on IT Security Spending and Investments. One of the most interesting findings was that for most organization, their security programs were not fully deployed. By far the majority of companies, 82% of them, reported that they are not at the “mature stage;” that is they do not have most of their IT security program activities deployed.
