Cyber attacks are inevitable. As our world becomes increasing connected, the bad guys will continue to find ways to infiltrate our networks and our systems. Recently, leaders at the World Economic Forum discussed cybersecurity. A brief summary of the discussion, What cyber-security insiders discussed at Davos 2017, was published. One of the recommendations from their meetings was to promote cyber resilience.
While prevention is what we strive for, as working group member Walter Bohmayr of Boston Consulting Group pointed out at Davos 2017, “In today’s world, an organization has to accept that it will be breached. That’s unfortunately the new normal.”
