Recently, Fast Company published an insightful article about the 8 Common Networking Disasters And How To Avoid Them. The networking mistakes they wrote about are:
- Trying to collect as many business cards as possible
- Being too casual
- Sending a resume without being asked
- Making meeting up inconvenient
- Being unprepared for the first meeting
- Misusing LinkedIn
- Not following up after a meeting
- Not offering your help
