Advisory Services

KP Partners specializes in developing and delivering programs and projects for clients at the intersection of business strategy, organizational design and information systems. Aligning information systems with business priorities begins with an understanding of the business and the opportunities available. At the heart of many of today’s opportunities is a robust information system that enables the business to provide value to it’s customers through effectiveness, efficiencies, and innovation. KP Partners provides consulting services, advisory services, and simple keynote or team presentations to jump start your organization’s understanding of strategic issues.

Sample projects include a workshop for the CIO and direct reports on IT’s role in Social Business Strategy Formulation, a workshop for a cross functional team on crafting a social media strategy, a workshop for a multi-company audience of IT leaders on Competencies for the IT Leader of the Tomorrow, and a panel discussion with current CIOs on Collaboration and Social Networking. KP Partners does original research, publishes an original blog, white papers, and case studies, and delivers presentations on topics of strategic importance to CIOs and their executive peers.

Leadership Development Programs

KP Partners has been designing and delivering leadership development programs for more than 10 years. Programs are customized for our clients. For example, we designed and deliver a multi-client program to help next generation IT leaders build a transition plan to prepare them for their next role. We have designed and we deliver multi-client programs to identify and develop leadership strengths and guide participants towards roles and opportunities that play to their strengths.

We designed and delivered a comprehensive leadership development program for a small non-profit to develop their next generation leaders. We designed a mentorship program for a client to deliver to their executive level clients. And we co-designed a widely-regarded, comprehensive multi-client leadership development program for next generation CIOs.

KP Partners was brought in to design and deliver modules for the CIO Pathways program. Download the pdfs below for more information:

IT Leaders Forum

The flagship program in the KP Partners portfolio is the IT Leaders Forum, an invitation only program for CIOs and Senior IT Leaders interested in peer-networking, community and lifelong learning about topics of strategic importance. Members come together in person two times a year for a strategically-focused topic seminar, and interact during quarterly teleconferences and as often as they like on our community site, to discuss issues related to leading the IT function.

A sample of the topics covered in recent meetings:

  • Innovating in a Down Economy
  • Smarter Decision Making and Business Analytics
  • Simplification of the IT Function
  • Managing the Outsourcing Portfolio
  • The IT Leaders Role in Social Business

Strategic seminars feature subject matter experts and thought leaders who lead our small, intimate discussion sessions.
